Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is an British film and stage actress known for her role in the film industry for her role in the BBC show "Doctor Who" which is a British Sci-Fi TV series. Gugu became famous for her character Tish Jones. Tish Jones was the character's sister. Gugu had a destiny to make a career in acting after viewers were captivated by her cheerful spontaneity. Gugu also appeared in various British stage and television productions. Her work has been critically acclaimed due to her outstanding performance in 'Belle' (2013), a British period drama, and Beyond the Lights (2014) which is a romantic drama. Also, she appeared in the Tom Hanks-produced comedy 'Larry Crowne,' and in television shows like 'Undercover,' and 'Touch. Gugu Mbatha Raw played the lead role in the stage play "Nell Gwynn" created by Jessica Swale as an actress who also served as the mistress of King Charles II. The critics praised her performance and recommended her for the Evening Standard Theatre Award. Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on the 25th of February, 1975. Handler was the youngest of children from a family of six. Her father was a used auto dealer, as was her mother, a homemaker. Her mother immigrated to America in the year 1958 as an immigrant from Germany. In 1989 her diagnosis was cancer and died ten years later. Her father was Jewish as was her mother, and she brought up within Reform Judaism. Handler lived in a great neighborhood with a happy upbringing. Handler was 19 when she decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler began her career as an actress in order to support her. When she turned 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, since she discovered her storytelling talents. Handler made her debut on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly, a reality show with an in-camera hidden camera and a practical joke. This reality show was on from 2002 to 2005. Handler worked on various other shows, including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice as well as Weekends at D.L. Handler started working as the correspondent on The Tonight Show. Handler received her first big break in 2006 when she started host her own program on E! Named The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler then performed in America as part of the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. Her name was chosen as host of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. She became only the second female host of the VMAs after Roseanne Bar.
