Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter, born on the 8th of October, 1968, is also an activist. She was Ainsley Hayes one of the characters in The West Wing's political dramas (2000-2002, 2006; and 2006). Calleigh Duquesne on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Early life



 Procter was born on 8 October in 1968. As an infant, she was adopted by William Procter (a general practitioner) and Barbara Jones (a volunteer worker). She was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was just three years old when she divorced her parents. She is the older sister of Whit and is adopted.



 



 Procter went to Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. Procter attended East Carolina University and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a television anchor for WNCT-TV Greenville, North Carolina. Following graduation, she was awarded degrees in journalism and dance.
