Milena Govich

 Milena Govich (Serbian born on October 29, 1976) is an American actress and director, as well as a singer as well as a dancer famous for her role as NYPD Detective Nina Cassady on the television series Law & Order.

 

 Early childhood education and education

 Govich was born in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. Dr. Bruce Michael Govich (who died in 1998) as well as Dr. Marilyn Green Govich [2was a professor of music. Marilyn teaches voice at University of Central Oklahoma, while Bruce was a professor at University of Oklahoma. Her mother is English and Scottish, and her father is Serbian. The aunt of her, Milica Govich, is also an actress and has appeared on Broadway TV, stage, and film.

 

 Milena was the class valedictorian at Norman High School in 1995. She followed her academic family and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, being valedictorian again, this time with an honors degree in both performance and medical pre-medical studies. She also received an additional minor in dance and violin. After graduating, Govich moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actor.
